Richard Banks established his practice in Woollahra in 1999. Before that he had gained wide experience in a number of established practices in Australia and the UK.

The ethos of the practice has always been to provide the highest levels of personalised professional care in all aspects of eye care. He provides a holistic approach to optometry, supported by well-established contacts with local GPs and ophthalmologists.

Richard noticed that many practices provide excellent clinical advice and examinations, but were let down by stocking unfashionable or poor quality eyewear.

On the other hand, many had satisfactory product ranges but did not provide enough in terms of thorough eye examinations and appropriate advice.
