FOUNDER & OPTOMETRIST

With over 30 years experience as an optometrist and over 20 years running his own practice in Woollahra, Richard is well-qualified to attend to your eyecare needs. Richard has undertaken post-graduate studies in ocular therapeutics, allowing him to prescribe eye medications for common anterior eye diseases. He also has training in fitting of orthokeratology contact lenses and other myopia-control modalities. When not at work he’ll be delving into his hobbies of classic cars, art and music.

OPTICIAN

Graeme, our optician, qualified in Cape Town and has 30 years of valuable experience in the optical industry. He has worked in 4 different countries, for big multinationals, in optical laboratories and start-ups, but feels most at home in independent practice. Here his personable approach to your specific individual optical needs and his eye for the perfectly styled frame means you are in the best hands. When he is not in the practice, Graeme spends most of his time swimming, teaching kids to swim or racing yachts on the harbour.

When Josie joined us many years ago as an assistant, it soon became apparent that she also had a passion for fashion. She loves helping people choose frames of the right shape and colour to compliment their style. Her own style is eclectic and many women love checking out her interesting jewellery. Josie loves shopping, theatre, movies, dogs and Zumba!
